Technically, the surgery is done, but they’re having trouble getting Caitlin off the heart/lung bypass. Her body needs to start up again on its own, generate blood pressure. They’re setting up multiple dialysis machines to try and help her transition off the heart/lung support back to ECMO.
That’s all I know at the moment. Prayers.

HI, I’m Caitlin’s uncle and rarely post anything but feel so compiled to do so today. Caitlin has been such an inspiration to me personally while going through my own medical issues years ago and I can’t thank her enough for her guidance. If you do not know her personally I can tell you that she can face the worst with a smile and then inspire you along the way. We have so many people from so many connections all over this wonderful world praying for her health and recovery.
