For those who would like to take part from a distance, we will be holding Caitlin’s service at 2pm today. I’ve attached a PDF of the program that I put together. I’m so grateful to Caitlin’s dear friend Billy Duffey—who must not have slept a wink the past two nights—who formatted it with all of Caitlin’s favorite fonts and produced it so beautifully. He also printed large, gorgeous photos of Caitlin that are gracing the walls of the chapel. Today is Billy’s birthday, yet he gave us such an incredible gift. ❤
The chapel could not be more perfect: a tiny, non-sectarian jewel that looks like a spiritual art gallery. It is utterly, completely Caitlin.

Thank you for sharing. You all are in my thoughts today. I worked with Caitlin at CDIABU, we shared an office for quite some time together and collaborated on many projects. She was a great friend and peer. One thing that always stuck out to me was her incredible eye for design and choice in fonts. I know she would have loved this design.
we hope you feel, comfort, peace and the love that surrounds you today Maryanne and Nick. You are in our thoughts & prayers.
Thank you for sharing the program with us. It’s beautiful.
Beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I printed out the entire program. It is beautiful and I know the service will be equally beautiful. We will be thinking of Caitlin and all of you this afternoon.
Thinking of you and sending prayers your way…I love the program!!! ❤️
My deepest thoughts are prayers are with all of you on this beautiful sunny day. May Caitlin’s light shine on forever!
Goodness, you’ve created a program people will actually want to keep and revisit. Amazing.
“All the men at court are without poetry. If they see me, they see my father’s fortune, I will have poetry in my life. And adventure. And love. Love above all.”
–Viola De Lesseps from “Shakespeare in Love”
She had such a beautiful soul, which will forever be a part of yours and Nick’s. The service booklet is beautiful, personal, literary. Loved “hearing” her voice.
Thank you so much for sharing this with those of us who did not know Caitlin personally but felt like we did.

Thank you so much, Maryanne and all for including all of us from afar today for 2:00 p.m. Beautiful service planned-the special people in Caitlin’s life, the music, the chosen favorite readings of Caitlin, Caitlin’s writings and drawings…just everything…that is beautiful and is Caitlin….with so much warmth and love. I will be with you at 2:00 p.m. today from afar with thoughts and prayers. OX ❤️
Thank you very much for sharing the program. I have printed it out to read and keep with my bible. It is simply beautiful and a lovely tribute to your love;y daughter. I am so glad that you have a sunny day and the chapel sounds absolutely perfect. Thinking of you all with much love.

I have followed only the very last part of Caitlin’s journey via facebook. I must say I admire your strength and love for your beautiful girl. She seemed to have a full yet too short of life. She touched so many lives even indirectly. I wish I could have known her. I wish you all peace. Thanks for sharing
Just amazingly breathtakingly beautiful….
Thank you for sharing .

What a touching and fitting tribute to Caitlin. While reading Caitlin’s service, I thought about these lines from “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder. “Does anyone ever realize life while they live it, every, every, moment? Saints and poets maybe, they do some.” I feel that Caitlin had the heart of a poet and the soul of a saint. Her light shines.
Thank you…… I have printed out the whole program and I treasure it greatly… I feel that I am in Caitlin’s company as I read it. Anne
❤
Mindful that you were having this sharing of love for and with Caitlin today, I was rapt by the random cool down selection in my class tonight: Enya singing “Paint the Sky with Stars”. Thank you (again) for sharing the words in the program.
Thinking of you all.
You chose a lovely spot for her service. Please know that you are surrounded by layers of love and support from family, friends, strangers who have been touched by your journey, and others who have travelled similar paths.
With you in spirit! This is so incredibly beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sending you a song in the sky for your precious Caitlin. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QOGCSBh3kmM
Love and prayers for you, Nick and the rest of her loves.
Such a beautiful tribute to Caitlin. I was able to read every word yesterday and am so appreciative that you were kind enough to share the program for her memorial service. With a mother like you, Maryanne, it is no wonder that Caitlin became the woman she did. Thinking of all of those closest to Caitlin and sending love.
